A message from Schools ICT
Firstly, and most importantly, we just wanted to say that we hope you, your staff and your whole school are safe and well. We also wanted to reassure you that Schools ICT is fully operational and ready to help you with all your ICT help and support.
Although most of us are working from home we are able to use the power of ICT to give you a full range of support services:
Help desk - open between 8am and 5pm (4:30pm on Fridays), every weekday including throughout school holidays. Delivering exactly the same expert level of telephone and remote support by Jenny Mackay and the front line team (Jack, Matthew, Emma, Joe and Andrew) and connecting you to the MIS experts and second line Principal Support Officers. Contact us by phone, email, or web chat.
Technicians – continuing to keep your ICT system fully operational by monitoring and managing your school's servers and ICT systems firstly though remote access and also in person if there is no other way. Our staff have undergone specific training for working safely in schools and will wear appropriate PPE whilst delivering onsite support.
Sales and Development - our dedicated Sales and Development teams are on hand to help with any technical or ICT educational needs. For Sales, choose option 2 from the main contact number to speak to Craig, Michaela or Nic Watters.
Websites and Microsoft SharePoint & Teams – it is more important now than at any time previously to keep your website up to date with messages, teaching resources and information for staff and pupils. The Cirrus Team is ready to help with any aspect of design and management of websites and SharePoint including using and setting up Microsoft Teams to support distance learning.
EdTech – George Tyson our EdTech advisor can help you with any aspect of teaching from a distance from low tech to high tech solutions and all the options in-between. George is an expert in the curriculum and pedagogical developments in education, and the technology, software and hardware that can support you through these altered times. He has loads of ideas to share.
Phone – 01609 536086 – Option 1 and ask to speak to George Tyson.
