Our dedicated training facility is conveniently located in the main building of County Hall, Northallerton.
Set up as a spacious classroom it can accommodate up to 10 delegates with an individual workstation for each delegate.
Training support staff will take care of both hardware and software setup in advance of each course so you can just turn up and start learning.
The teaching set of laptops are loaded with all the latest version of MIS software ensuring delegates are all using the same versions and all start on the same page.
All training materials are supplied including the courses training booklets.
Each workstation has a comfortable office chair designed for 8 hour use. They are fully adjustable to ensure your comfort whilst attending courses.
Teaching takes the form of presentations and informal one-to-one support. Our trainers have access to a high definition digital TV screen and a ceiling mounted projector for presentations/video. The inbuilt speaker system ensures that sound quality is clear whilst playing any audio material.
Whiteboard, Flip Chart and pens are supplied as standard for any breakout exercises.
Guest access to the corporate WiFi ensures you can keep in contact with your school at all times and there is good signal strength for mobile phone coverage.
Hot drinks and cold water is available throughout the day and regular refreshment breaks are timetabled in the programme.
The onsite staff restaurant serves a range of hot and cold lunches and opens early for breakfast. The recent addition of a Costa coffee bar serves a range of coffees and hot chocolate and opens at 08:00 in the morning.
The canteen breakout area can also be used to eat packed lunches and we always make sure there is a decent break between sessions.

Northallerton is well served by public transport and the train station is directly opposite the main entrance to County Hall. The train station lies on the East Coast Main Line with regular trains South to York and North to Darlington and beyond. It is also a major stop on the TransPennine express routes with destinations to mainline stations east and west.
For delegates arriving by road there is ample car parking in the visitor’s car park to the front and side of the main entrance to county hall. Delegates are asked to find a vacant space then report to reception to collect a visitor’s parking pass which should be clearly displayed on the dashboard.
Overflow parking is available in nearby pay and display car parks at the station and Romanby Road public carpark. It costs £3.00 per day you can pay by mobile phone if you don’t have enough coinage. It is just a short walk to County Hall and the quickest route is through the station via the station underpass.
On arrival at County Hall please report to the main reception where you will be signed in and directed to the training room on the 1st floor.
For delegated with mobility issues there are priority disabled spaces near the main entrance and the reception can be accessed by a sloped ramp. There is a lift just behind the reception to take delegates up to the first floor.
