Getting here
Northallerton is well served by public transport and the train station is directly opposite the main entrance to County Hall. The train station lies on the East Coast Main Line with regular trains South to York and North to Darlington and beyond. It is also a major stop on the TransPennine express routes with destinations to mainline stations east and west.
For delegates arriving by road there is ample car parking in the visitor’s car park to the front and side of the main entrance to county hall. Delegates are asked to find a vacant space then report to reception to collect a visitor’s parking pass which should be clearly displayed on the dashboard.
Overflow parking is available in nearby pay and display car parks at the station and Romanby Road public carpark. It costs £3.00 per day you can pay by mobile phone if you don’t have enough coinage. It is just a short walk to County Hall and the quickest route is through the station via the station underpass.
Parking at County Hall
The main visitors’ car park will be relocated to 3 Racecourse Lane. There is a visitors’ sign at the car park entrance.
